Auto Expo 2027 Delhi: Transport for Bharat Mobility Global Expo

Auto Expo is now the motor show inside a much larger event. The third Bharat Mobility Global Expo runs from 4 to 9 February 2027 across two Delhi venues — Bharat Mandapam at Pragati Maidan and Yashobhoomi in Dwarka — with Auto Expo – The Motor Show 2027 as one of eleven shows under the same banner, alongside the Components & Technology Show, the Bharat Battery Show, the Metro & Urban Mass Transit Expo and the Air Mobility Expo.

The scale is not conference scale. The 2025 edition recorded a net footfall of 983,522 visitors across its venues, with more than 1,500 exhibitors including 34 vehicle manufacturers, over 1,000 component companies and more than 5,000 international participants. For anyone running an OEM stand, a component pavilion, a dealer delegation or a press programme, that is the environment your vehicles have to operate in for six days.

And there is a detail in the 2027 schedule that decides your entire transport plan: the two venues do not run on the same dates. Bharat Mandapam runs 4–9 February; Yashobhoomi runs 4–7 February. Anyone with a presence at both is running a two-site operation about 25 km apart, and then a one-site operation for the final two days.

Two consequences follow. First, every chauffeur-driven car, people mover and coach in Delhi NCR is spoken for during expo week — this is the single busiest week in the region’s event calendar. Second, the roads around both venues saturate, so the plan that works is the one that reduces the number of vehicles approaching the gate, not the one that gives everyone their own car.

The two-venue problem

Bharat Mandapam sits in central Delhi. Yashobhoomi sits in Dwarka, on the far side of the airport. They are roughly 25 km apart, and the route between them crosses some of the city’s heaviest corridors at exactly the hours your teams want to move.

Indicative planning ranges from our own Delhi NCR runs. Expo-week volumes add to the final approach at both venues.

Book hotels against your venue, not against the brand name

If your stand is at Yashobhoomi, Aerocity and Dwarka put your team 20 to 30 minutes from the hall and close to the airport. If your stand is at Bharat Mandapam, central Delhi does the same job. Splitting the difference — a Gurugram or Noida hotel for a team working both venues — is what turns a six-day show into six days of commuting.

Who is moving, and in what

An expo of this size has more distinct travelling groups than a conference does, and they move at different hours.

The week, phase by phase

Expo week from a transport desk

Late January

Fleet lock

February is peak season in Delhi NCR. Vehicles committed four to six weeks out are the ones that exist; later requests get substitutions.

T–3 to T–1 days

Bump-in

Stand build, display vehicles and AV crews, working outside public hours at both venues with waiting time built in.

4–5 February

Press and business days

The tightest movement of the week: launches, media rounds, VIP stand visits and inter-venue runs on a fixed clock.

6–7 February

Both venues live

Peak public volume with Yashobhoomi still running. Shuttle loops matter more than individual cars.

8–9 February

Bharat Mandapam only

Yashobhoomi has closed; the fleet re-shapes to a single venue and the loop count drops.

After close

Strike and departures

Crew vehicles late into the night, staggered airport runs for international participants.

Five decisions that keep expo week calm

What experienced exhibitors do differently

Lock the fleet in January

Not February. Expo week overlaps with the wedding season and the corporate quarter-end; the premium classes go first.

Run loops between the venues, not taxis

A fixed shuttle every 45 minutes on days one to four beats twenty separate cabs stuck on the same road.

Keep one car parked at your venue

For the dealer who lands unannounced, the part that has to reach the stand, the executive who must leave now.

Separate crew vehicles from guest vehicles

Stand crews work hours your guests do not. Sharing a vehicle between the two means one of them waits.

Plan dealer meets as their own operation

Evening dealer conferences and hospitality dinners during expo week need their own coaches and their own timings.

What to settle with a transport vendor

Agree in writing

  • Owned vehicles, allocated by registration number, not “a car of that type”
  • Standby vehicles at each venue, costed in
  • Bump-in and strike hours, including night waiting
  • Inter-venue loop timings and who holds the venue passes
  • One control desk for six days, answered at any hour
  • A single reconciled invoice against the run sheet

What goes wrong otherwise

  • Aggregator surge pricing on every leg of press day
  • Cars that cannot enter the venue because nobody arranged passes
  • A crew stranded at 01:00 after stand strike
  • Dealer groups arriving in ten cabs instead of one coach
  • Vehicles swapped mid-week for whatever was available
  • Waiting hours nobody agreed appearing on the bill

Why KTC India for expo week

We have operated out of Delhi since 1943 and own the fleet we deploy, which is what makes a six-day, two-venue commitment possible in the busiest week of the NCR calendar. We ran more than 300 vehicles for delegations at the BRICS Summit in New Delhi in 2026, and we hold long-running corporate and dealer-network contracts that look a lot like expo work: groups, shuttles, executives and crews, all moving at once.

The operating base behind an expo fleet

1943Operating since
2,500+Vehicles owned and maintained
200+Vehicles on duty on an ordinary day
300+Vehicles run for BRICS 2026 delegations

For Bharat Mobility week the relevant services are event and exhibition transport, coach shuttles for dealer delegations, airport transfers for international participants, corporate mobility contracts for exhibitor teams, and chauffeur-driven cars in Delhi held for the full six days.

Booking and pricing

Book in January. Every OEM, supplier and dealer network in the country is chasing the same Delhi NCR fleet in the first week of February, and coaches and people movers commit earliest because there are fewer of them.

Chauffeur-driven luxury cars start at ₹15,000 + GST for a 4-hour / 40 km package, with executive sedans, Innova Crysta, Urbania and coaches below that on the same structure. Six-day expo fleets, inter-venue loops and dealer-meet transport are quoted against the run sheet, because standby and night hours drive the cost more than distance does.

Send us your stand locations, team sizes and dealer arrival dates and we will build the run sheet around them. Reservations are on +91 11 4258 8888, 24×7, or use the enquiry form.

Frequently asked questions

When is Auto Expo 2027 and where is it held?

Auto Expo – The Motor Show 2027 runs as part of Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2027 from 4 to 9 February 2027 in New Delhi. Bharat Mandapam at Pragati Maidan runs 4–9 February and Yashobhoomi in Dwarka runs 4–7 February.

How far apart are the two venues?

Bharat Mandapam and Yashobhoomi are roughly 25 km apart. Allow 45 to 60 minutes off-peak and 75 to 110 minutes in peak traffic, which is why teams working both sites run fixed shuttle loops rather than booking cabs per trip.

Which venue is closer to the airport?

Yashobhoomi. It is about 8 to 12 km from Terminal 3, roughly 20 to 30 minutes off-peak. Bharat Mandapam is about 16 km from the airport.

Can you provide coaches for dealer and distributor delegations?

Yes. Dealer groups arriving from other cities are the classic coach requirement — hotel to venue in fixed waves, plus separate transport for evening dealer meets and hospitality dinners.

Do you cover stand bump-in and strike hours?

Yes. Crew vehicles such as Urbania and tempo travellers are scheduled around build and strike, including night movement, with waiting time agreed in advance rather than billed as a surprise.

How early should we book for expo week?

January, four to six weeks ahead. The first week of February is the busiest week of the Delhi NCR calendar and premium sedans, people movers and coaches are committed first.

Can one vendor cover both venues and our hotel transfers?

Yes, and it is the arrangement that works best: one run sheet covering both venues, the inter-venue loop, airport transfers and dealer movement, with one control desk and one invoice at the end of the week.
